HOW MANY GUESTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE? IS THERE A MINIMUM?
The Crystal Ballroom can accommodate 450 for a wedding reception. The Garden Atrium and Hemingway Ballroom can accommodate 180 guests comfortably. There is not a minimum of guests for any of our rooms.
DO YOU OFFER SHUTTLE SERVICE?
Yes, we have complimentary shuttle service to and from the Erie International Airport, our hotels and Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park.
CAN WE HAVE THE CEREMONY ON-SITE?
Absolutely! Please contact our event planners for more information.
WILL THE HOTEL ROOMS BE DISCOUNTED FOR A WEDDING?
Yes. We work closely with our connecting hotels to not only offer the very best in customer service through our banquet department, but to also provide a memorable and affordable experience for your guests.
IS THE VENUE RENTAL PART OF THE CATERING COSTS?
The room rental will be waived with the minimum food and beverage, and will vary depending on the exact meeting room and the amount of time being used. Please contact an event planner for more information.
DO YOU ALLOW US TO BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE?
No. We have an award-winning chef who will be able to cater the food and beverage needs for your meeting, banquet, convention, wedding, etc.
CAN I BRING IN A CAKE FROM AN OUTSIDE BAKERY?
Yes. You can choose any bakery you would like for the wedding cake and we can coordinate with the bakery to let them know exactly when and where to bring the cake the day of your wedding.
DO YOU HAVE FLORAL SERVICES AVAILABLE ON-SITE?
We do not have an on-site florist so you are free to choose a florist of your choosing. We can coordinate with the florist to let them know exactly when they can come set-up the day of your wedding.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND DJ’S OR A BAND FOR OUR SPECIAL DAY?
Yes. We have a full list of preferred entertainers we’ve worked with in the past. Please contact a wedding planner for more information.
ARE ALL VENUES HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, the entire facility is handicap accessible.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes. A non-refundable 20% deposit on the food and beverage will be required at the time of booking.
With three unique event spaces, the Ambassador Banquet & Conference Center can accommodate your vision and tailor your wedding experience. If you have not settled on a setting for the ceremony, our experienced wedding planners can show you many on-site options. Everything from rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and more all can be accommodated by The Ambassador to make the wedding planning process as easy and stress-free as possible.
Twelve Austrian crystal chandeliers are the centerpiece of this elegant space. The Crystal Ballroom is luxurious and fit for an unforgettable event. This space accommodates up to 550 guests. In addition to over 2,000 square feet of pre-function area is available.
Mahogany wood, hand-painted murals and a unique bar in the pre-function area make this ballroom one-of-a-kind. This space accommodates up to 350 guests and has 1,500 pre-function area.
Bring the outdoors in with this garden-like setting that accommodates up to 300 guests. In addition to the Garden Atrium, there is up to 1,600 square feet of pre-function area. Just off the Garden Atrium is the Garden Terrace, a beautiful outdoor space with movable trees, a koi pond and a gazebo making this a perfect setting for outdoor events which accommodates up to 600 guests.

We have a complete vendor directory of photographers, DJs, florists, etc. to help you find the perfect enhancements for your event.

FULL-SERVICE WEDDING PLANNING
Our wedding planners let you focus on the fun, not the food (or any of the other stress sometimes associated with planning a wedding). Our wedding planning process is full-service and incorporates everything from the basics such as the menu and entertainment, to helping you know when to apply for a marriage license and create a registry. Normally, this process starts about 12-18 months before the decided wedding date where a dedicated wedding planner will sit down with you and decide on a venue for your special day and figure out certain details such as where and when the ceremony will take place, an estimate on how many people will be attending, and the type of entertainment you would like for the reception.
Offer your guests a traditional and more formal experience with a sit-down dinner with a salad, 2 entrees, vegetable, and accompaniment.
A fun, family-focused dining option where large bowls and platters of food are placed on the tables for guests to pass and self-serve. Includes appetizers, salad, 2 entrees, vegetable, accompaniment, and pasta.
A buffet-style wedding reception typically stimulates mingling and socializing by having food choices on long table displays and includes salad, 3 entrees, vegetable, and accompaniment.
