American Heart Association Heart Ball 2019 at the Ambassador Erie Pa

American Heart Association’s Heart Ball, “Joie De Vivre”, was an event to remember! On Saturday, February 23, over 400 guests were greeted with champagne and truffles as they began the silent auction in the Garden Atrium. The Atrium featured a special signature drink, La Vie est Belle, a grand charcuterie display and a beautiful ice sculpture of the Arc de Triomphe from Erie Ice Works.  After the silent auction, chimes guided guests to the Crystal Ballroom where they would find a five-course meal, live auction and first class entertainment.

The dinner offered five different courses prepared by Chef Manny each accompanied by a different French wine. The courses included Lobster Bisque, Grilled Pear Arugula, Cornish Hen, Beef Short Ribs and an edible Chocolate Heart filled with Chocolate Mousse. After dinner was a live auction featuring a sunset cruise on Scott Free (donated by Scott Enterprises), as well as many additional donated items from companies throughout the area. Once the auction ended The Chozen Few, from Cleveland, took the stage and performed a wonderful show featuring today’s hits, throwbacks, slow music for dancing and even a little bit of Reggae.

The Ambassador takes pride in events such as these, offering the most exquisite and luxurious venue in Erie, PA.
