Allegheny Health Network at St. Vincent held the Crystal Ball at the Ambassador Banquet & Conference Center on Saturday, May 18th, 2019. This esteemed fundraising event had not been held by the hospital since 2013. Its return brought 400 guests who enjoyed tasty Hors D’Oeuvres and an experience silent auction to begin the evening.

Dinner was an exquisite duet plate with Filet Mignon in a Cabernet Sauce and Rosemary Garnish, Shrimp stuffed with Crab Meat and Red Pepper Coulis, Boursin Cheese Dutch Potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, a white chocolate ball sprinkled with sea salt was placed over a salted caramel brownie bite with an ice cream center, surrounded by a raspberry and mint garnish. This was a delectable dessert experience as guests then were each given a vessel of hot chocolate sauce to pour over the top and the chocolate ball began to melt before their eyes.

After the program and live auction concluded, a champagne toast followed. Several cold spark effect machines then lit up the stage and the Bachelor Boys Band began to play as guests rose from their seats and began to dance!
